Meet The Team - Abilene, TX

Ticia is the first person you will have the pleasure of meeting when you come into our office. She is always so happy to be here and to help you in any way that is needed. She started as the Financial coordinator at Leedy Dental in January 2012. She graduated from Tarleton State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Child and Family Studies. In October 2013, Ticia had her one and only daughter, Paislea. During her time off, she loves spending time with her family and friends as well as shopping. Ticia is always available to coordinate finances and answer questions or concerns you may have about your dental appointment.

Rickie’s contagious smile and inviting conversations will have you feeling at the home in no time! She has worked for Dr. Bob as a dental assistant for over 5 years. After realizing the love she had for dentistry, she decided it was time to move forward and pursue a career in dental hygiene. Rickie received an Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene from Concorde Career College in Dallas TX, and she’s happy to be back home with her work family at Leedy Dental! Rickie is married to her husband Jacob and has twin daughters, Jaycei and Jordynn. In her spare time, she enjoys watching movies and hanging with her family.

Rachael has been assisting Dr. Bob as an RDA since 2000. Her experience has helped ease the anxiety that patients may have about dentistry. Rachael is also a certified phlebotomist enhancing our office’s up-to-date implant technology. Her passion for helping people is evident by her constant service work with her church and local homeless ministries here in Abilene. Rachael enjoys spending time with her family, fur babies, gardening, running in marathons, and skydiving.

Lacey graduated from Howard College in Big Spring, Texas in May of 2014 with an Associates of Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene. Lacey started out as a dental assistant in 2007, working alongside Dr. Bob Leedy. With her ten years of dental experience, Lacey is a trusted advocate promoting oral and overall health care to our patients. Lacey’s passion for dentistry encourages our patients to lead healthy lifestyles. Lacey and her husband Cody are both from the Big Country and have two daughters, Avery and Madilyn. They enjoy being outside and spending time with family.

Misty is a Clyde High School graduate who earned her dental assistant certification from Cisco College in 2008. Misty’s outgoing, friendly personality makes patients feel welcome and at ease when they walk through our doors. Misty is a welcome addition to the Leedy Dental team who will help guide you through your dental journey as she assists in the creation of your most beautiful, life-changing smile. Misty and her husband, Dakota, have two daughters named Haven and Hartley. In Misty’s spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, being outdoors, music, dancing, and making the most of every day.

Shelbi joined Leedy Dental in January of 2019. Shelbi graduated from Abilene Dental Assisting School in 2015 and has dedicated the past 4 years to developing her dental assisting skills. Her playful personality and background in Invisalign is a great treasure to have in our office. She will help get the smile you deserve! In her spare time, Shelbi enjoys summer lake trips, getting her eyelashes done and spending time with friends and family.

Chelsi graduated from Kaplan College for Dental Assisting in 2010. She recently moved to Abilene from Lubbock and married her husband in Sep. 2019! She has one fur baby, Chipper, a yellow lab and in her free time you can find her at the golf course, outside or binge-watching Grey's Anatomy. Chelsi and her husband also love to cheer on the Texas Rangers!

Patty started her journey at Leedy Dental in September 2020. Her warm-hearted smile and personality will brighten your day and make you feel right at home in our office. Patty graduated from Abilene Dental Assisting School and earned her RDA license in 2015; she has spent the last 6 years learning new dental skills and adding her own personal touch with each patient interaction. Patty is bilingual and is able to provide exceptional care in our office. Patty and her husband, Moe, moved to the big country area in 2007 with their 3 kids Kenya, Yazeed, and Hakeem. In her spare time, she loves the outdoors and is always supporting her kids on the soccer field.

Cadence graduated from dental assisting school in 2020. She was born and raised in Marble Falls, and finally made her way to Abilene. She not only enjoys making meaningful relationships outside of work, but takes the time to get to know every patient she meets. In her spare time she enjoyed leading in Young Lipe groups, playing disc golf, and spending time with friends and family.

Hunter has been a dental assistant since 2017 and has truly fallen in love with this line of work and cannot imagine herself doing anything else. She has two wonderful babies ages 7 & 5 both a boy and a girl. She has a very loving boyfriend, Gary, and they share a beautiful life here in Abilene with one tiny chihuahua, Olive. Hunter loves everyone and is ready to welcome you with open arms to come and be a part of the Leedy Dental family!

Vange is one of the first people you will have the pleasure of meeting when you walk into the office. Her warm smile and great customer service will make you feel like part of the Leedy Dental family in no time. Vange has worked in administrative care for over 7 years which makes her the perfect addition to our exceptional team. Vange is an Abilene native and is a proud mother to her one and only daughter, Hadassah. She enjoys spending time with her daughter, family, and friends in her spare time.

Kaci's passion for dentistry began 16 years ago. Kaci graduated from dental hygiene school in 2017 after 9 years of being a dental assistant. With her combined experience she is able to build trusting and valuable relationships with patients and provide reliable healthcare and education. Her drive for continuously educating herself in dentistry as well as education her patients on the importance of oral health makes her a great team member. She is originally from the big country and glad to be home after working in the Austin area for a couple of years. She is passionate about her family and loves spending time with her husband Julian and three beautiful children, Kayli, Kinley, and Kayson. Kaci enjoys being active and working out.
